Shine, Brilliance and Protection for Your Boat or Yacht

Whether at sea or the dock, System X preserves the fiberglass and painted areas on your boat or yacht.

System X is the latest in ceramic technology. Not a clear bra, wax, polish or typical paint sealant. This new coating exhibits outstanding resistance to salt water, friction, and solvents. System X seals, protects, and bonds to all painted marine surfaces including composites.

System X is a semi-permanent coating that actually becomes the functional surface of your craft’s hull and other paintwork. By creating an inseparable bond on a molecular level with your surface you get a coating that cannot be washed off like a wax or sealant.

System X acts as a clear coat, which provides increased protection against the elements. This new clear coating is glossier, chemical resistant, and harder than the original paint. Providing incredible protection against salt water, minor scratches, swirl marks, acid rain, bird droppings, and UV rays.

This coating doesn’t just form a sacrificial shield of protection like other products. Instead, it bonds into your gelcoat or metal surface creating a semi-permanent shell. This shell provides a very easy to clean barrier against the adherence of contaminants.

System X paint protection can be applied to the entire exterior of your vessel, except rubber and soft plastic.

Testing has shown System X Coating to be extremely resilient to salt water, weathering, and general wear and tear. View the Saltwater Submersion Test to see how System X can protect your boat from the ocean’s salt water.

What if you need to paint or touch-up your paintwork? No problem. Since System X is only a couple microns thick you can polish or compound the coating off before completing these tasks.

High Gloss Extreme Ceramic Protection for Your Boat or Yacht

Providing extreme hardness and resilience for themost demading conditions. System X Xtreme Ceramic Nano Coating is our most effective coating for protecting against friction, heat, and solvents. Incorporating the industry’s most durable ceramic technology, it offers years of protection against salt water, with no yellowing, cracking, peeling, or delaminating.

In addition, System X Xtreme Ceramic Nano Coating withstands heat over 1,100 degrees, offers a high degree of resilience in punishing environments, and provides an extreme gloss finish.

The marine environment is unforgiving. The high corrosiveness of salt, UV rays, acids, alkalies, exhaust and algae/shell contaminants can cause structural and cosmetic damage that impair your craft’s performance and ruin its appearance.

Unbelievable Clariry and Protection for Your Boat or Yacht

System X Glass coating protects your windshields, windscreens, windows, mirrors, glass headlamps, and other glass surfaces from micro scratches while multiplying the surface’s hydrophobic properties for two full years.

Increase visibility in the rain, easily de-ice in the winter and easily clean insect matter in the summer.

System X Glass coating provides a clear, protective coating over glass to keep glass surfaces cleaner and clearer. The coating is resistant to wiper blades and outlasts ordinary glass sealants by a wide margin. System X Glass improves visibility in all weather conditions.

System X Glass bonds with the glass to create a slick barrier between the glass and the elements. Rain beads up and rolls off treated glass. Dirt is less able to stick. Insects and ice are easier to remove. Smears caused by wiper blades are all but eliminated and blades glide noiselessly over the smooth coating.

No matter what the conditions are outside, System X Glass helps keep your windshield clearer.

Unlike regular rain repellent coatings that adhere to the surface of the glass using weak bonding chemistry, System X Glass bonds with the glass giving unrivalled durability and exceptionally low smear characteristics.

This self-cleaning coating eliminates the need to pull out harsh solvents or grime cutters to clean your windscreen.

Frequenty Asked Ceramic Coating Questions

System X Ceramic Coatings are not waxes or paint sealant that will degrade over short periods of time. System X products don’t require a special “soft wash” or pH neutral shampoo to remain on the surface either. These are permanent coatings, very similar to your factory clear coat- but harder, and with higher resistance against scratching, etching, and chemicals.

Are these coatings really permanent?

Yes, System X Ceramic Coatings should be thought of as adding another clear coat to the paint’s surface. This new clear coat is glossier, chemical resistant, and harder than the original clear coat. System X is a permanent coating in the same sense that the clear coat on your boat is permanent. Eventually the clear coat will wear away over the years; its overall longevity depends on conditions, cleaning frequency and proper application.

What areas can be treated with the System X?

All exterior surfaces including paint, metal, stainless steel, chrome, gel coat, plastic composites, exhaust and wheels can be treated by Crystal, Pro, Diamond, Renegade, and Xtreme. Do bother using System X ceramics on rubber or soft plastics – it doesn’t adhear well to those. System X Glass is formulated specifically for windshields, windscreens, windows, mirrors, and glass headlamps. System X Interior can be used on all interior surfaces including carpet, fabric, leather and vinyl.

What is the advantage of System X over polyurethane clear coats that already provide significant gloss and color retention?

System X provides additional gloss and protection shield over clear coats. The ceramic resin bonded coating helps contaminants slide off easily, which give them less time to eat into the surface. An added plus is the ease of cleaning your boat. An easy way to think of it would be that System X is the equivalent of another, harder and glossier clear coat layer.

What kind of safety equipment should be used when applying System X?

Nitrile gloves should be worn. A respirator is recommended for applications in closed or poorly ventilated areas.

Why does it seem that the water repellency has decreased over time?

This will happen over time due to eventual buildup of contaminants (like every other coating). Just clean the surface with a mild cleaner and wash off thoroughly with water. The hydrophobic effect is then reproduced.
